Since 2020, I have been designing motion graphics for Dutch innovation platform INNOVATE.
Every year, INNOVATE organizes an event to find 'The Most Innovative Student in the Netherlands'. In 2021, I created an opening sequence video that is played at the beginning of each event. The goal for this video was to engage and excite the audience, introduce the finalists and convey the overall theme and purpose of the event.
For the 2023 edition, I created an animated template to introduce each speaker as they come up on stage. The branding for the 2023 event consisted of static 2D images made with 3D software. I transformed these images into a pseudo-3D animation using depth of field, blur, and parallax effects.
